Engine - J.A.P 500cc short four, 45 bhp and 6000 rpm
Clutch - Norton, multiplate
Carburettor - Amal, twin float
Fuel - Methanol (plus undisclosed rocket fuel)
Brocks fireworks and ICI made at least 8 variations of the 'JET-away' propulsion rockers for Speedway bikes. The first appearance (in Britain) was at Wembley 3rd October 1946 and experiments continued for the next 5 years or so.
