A George V courtsword, slender blade 32" etched with Royal Cypher, crossed lances, and scrolls, by J R Gaunt, late Edw. Thurkle, beaded gilt hilt with gold bullion knot, in its brown leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. Basically GC (knot worn, some crazing to scabbard, gilt would probably clean up very well). £50-60
