A .177'' WEBLEY & SCOTT POST WWII SENIOR AIR PISTOL bearing batch number 175, the length of it's knurling on the barrel i.e 2.375'' linked to the fact that the front sight had been shortened in height indicates it was made in Weaman Street sometime between 19 August 1949 when the foresignt height was reduced and 21st Sept 1949 when the length of the knurling on the barrel was reduced to 2''. (see Webley Air Pistols by G Bruce), this specimen has patches of rust on it blued finish but is in correct working order (THE PURCHASER MUST BE 18 YEARS AND OVER)
