A mid 19th century .65” military type percussion holster pistol by Fredk. Barnes & Co, London, 14¼” overall, signed barrel 10” stamped with Indian arsenal marks on left of breech; plain unmarked lock; walnut fullstock with mostly regulation pattern brass mounts retaining traces of silver plated finish, the flat butt cap having hinged trap and with swivel ramrod. GWO & C with good age patina. Possibly made for Indian State forces. Plate 15
