A Thai carved stone Buddha head: believed to be 18th century Ayutthaya period; the face with downcast expression, arched eyebrows, smiling lips; domed hair-dress with tight curls. (11.8 cm high).
(The usnisha damaged).
* Condition: Losses to usnisha and chipping to top of right ear. One small chip to edge of left ear. Some abrasions and small flakes from the raised points on the hairdress. Possible old restoration to accentuate detail to the nose and lips.
