TWO ITEMS OF GERMAN WWII 'S.S.' INTEREST, a silver colour cigarette case, one side is engraved with a 'Stahlhelm' sword and oak leaf design and marked 2 SS PZ DIV 'Das Reich' the other side has ornate blue and white enamel with a centre cartouche 'S.S' and worded BJELGOROROD 2.2.43 and CHARKOW 14.2.43, also MEREFA 15.2.43 and a corner marking 'OSTFRONT' i.e. East Front, inside are two thin green coloured SS shoulder flashes, the case is marked 800 with crescent moon and crown markings (i.e. late 19th Century) and a 'Christofle' plated table fork with monogram and an applied S.S. circular rune crest (4)
