Jacques Felix Simon, Soldat au 67e Regiment, Prisonnier de Guerre a bord du ponton La Couronne a Pormoute" with very fine "P.78.P/DRAGUIGNAN" on the front but with no Paris marks having the "15" prepaid rate on reverse, but clearly never delivered - letters sent soon after Napoleon's suspension of Mail exchange from 21 Nov. 1806 are thought to have remained in the Paris P.O.'s Secret Office ("Cabinet Noir") - with part of top left of inner sheet cut away.
