Surname appears it should be McEwan, with 4 copied pages of service record for 788 Peter McEwan who was born in Glasgow, discharged 10/11/68 after 21 years service, also Indian Mutiny Medal Central India clasp and LSGC, also served 5 years in Canada, 2 years in India.
