A smokebox numberplate, 60513, from a Thompson A2/3 Class 4-6-2 No 513 built at Doncaster, Works No 2004, in August 1946 and named DANTE after the racehorse which won the Derby the previous year. It had spells at Kings Cross and Grantham but spent most of its career at New England from where it was withdrawn in April 1963 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Repainted. (Postage Band: C)
