Five lines of lettering (infilled with cobalt oxide) impressed to front for the GROCER & WINE MERCHANT/ 72 & 74 BACK STREET/... 6LB, & below impressed (& infilled in blue) Buchan p.m. Crock has an underside flake but a really fabulous looking crock, & rare to boot.
