Emily J Edwards for Doulton Lambeth: A baluster form vase with arabesque decoration and flowerheads impressed and incised decoration to the base, dated 1874, 25cm tall. [Emily Edwards was one of the first women designers and decorators at the Lambeth Studios and her specialty was carved and incised foliate patterns. Miss Edwards died at an early age, having worked only for a few years at Doulton Lambeth and making specimens of her work rare.]
