This image was taken from the sea north of Ny-Alesund looking directly north towards the north pole on a day when the sky and clouds were producing these incredible patterns on the surface of the sea which seemed to give the impression of stepping stones leading directly to the north pole. Giclée prints on Da Vinci Archival white 315gsm, mounted onto 2mm aluminium di-bond and set in an oak black stained tray frame
'I started my photographic career some 25 years ago in Scotland. I still love photographing a wide variety of subjects - mainly people (from actors to corporate and musicians) but also travel and architecture'
