French 1842 Pattern Bayonet with single edged fullered blade 570mm in length, maker marked and dated to spine of blade 1861 along with pattern date of 1842. Brass hilt. Release catch is seized. Overall length 695mm. No scabbard.
Some grind marks to edges of blade. Release catch may free up if oiled.
