18th-19th century (or earlier), of rectangular form with cohesive design, the surface decorated with a rhythmic envelopment of interlocked carved circular cartouches each framed a stylised bas-relief floral motif combining geometric repetition with naturalistic elements. Provenance: by family tradition, Grand Tour piece originally from a Laois - Offaly country house estate collection. 55 cm. high; 103 cm. wide; 85 cm. deep GARDEN
