A late 19th century opal three stone ring, the three graduated oval opal cabochons with rose cut diamond highlights, leading to carved mount and plain polished shank, stamped ’18ct’ ring size O, 8gms
There is crack/deep scratch between 9-3 on the central opal (seen with x10 loupe)
Minor nibble/fracture seen to bottom left hand corner of one of the side opals.
Surface scuffs, and blemishes are seen throughout the opals, commensurate with age and wear (seen with x10 loupe)
General green/yellow play of colour seen throughout, particular red play of colour seen to one of the side opals.
Setting shows wear, and claws are low throughout.
Diamonds are present.
Ring would benefit from a clean.
