Victorian 1822 Pattern General And Staff Officer's Sword


32 1/4 inch, single edged blade with fuller.  Finely etched foliage scroll panels, crowned VR cypher and Victorian crowned General's cartouche.  Forte with maker 'Pulford & Co. 65 St James St London".  Gilt brass guard with Victorian crown General's cartouche.  Gilt brass stepped pommel with stylised floral and checkered backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its polished steel scabbard.  Complete with red and gilt sword knot.
