A VICTORIAN SILVER COMBINATION VESTA AND SOVEREIGN CASE

by Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, Birmingham 1897, square with rounded corners, the hinged vesta cover with a striker, the push-button opening a sprung cover revealing holders for full and half sovereigns, engraved all over with scrolls. 5.7cm long, 2.1 troy ounces



The marks are reasonably clear. Both covers open and close well. There are a few tiny dints in the corners. In generally good condition without personalised engraving.
