A French rosewood and marquetry library clock - circa 1890, the 3½in white enamel Roman dial with hour and quarter hour Arabic numerals in red, fronting a an eight day timepiece movement with outside platform escapement, the rectangular case inlaid with floral and foliate marquetry, on a moulded outset plinth base with ornate brass swing handle to top.
