A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER SPIRIT KETTLE ON STAND, of oval form, basket weave insulation, the pull off cover with ebonised finial over fanned decoration, the kettle engraved with a crest over stop reeding, the stand with four Neo-classical legs with paw feet and fitted with a circular burner, makers Elkington & Co (Frederick Elkington) and the mark looks to have been struck over Charles Stuart Harris in two places, gross weight 28.07ozt, 873.0 grams (Condition report: wear to the crest and hallmarks, sits level on a flat surface, small dent on the side without the crest, silver polish has got between the wicker and some wicker is missing)
