CHESTERFIELD SLAB SEAL FLASK. 10.5ins tall. Grey/ green slip glaze. Flattened rectangular shape flask with scalloped shoulder detail. Impressed T. P. WOOD/ MARKET PLACE/ CHESTERFIELD, decorative scrolled sprigs to all four corners front & back (found only on the earliest types - exceptionally rare). Quite insignificant corner & lip nick.
