A William IV English turned wood snuff box, circa 1837, by repute from the timbers of HMS Albion, 8.3cm (3 1/2in) diameter; together with a ropetwist hair bracelet A (badly) handwritten note inside reads 'This Snuff Box is a Peace (sic) of His Majesties Ship the Albion the First vessel (sic) Nelson had Command of / I had it made myself. She was broken up last summer (sic) in Deptford Dock and for having the Dry Rot' HMS Albion was a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy. She was launched at Perry's Blackwall Yard on the Thames on 17th June 1802. She was broken up at Chatham Dockyard in 1836
