George III silver pair cased verge pocket watch, by M Tobias & Co., London, hallmarked London 1801, plain outer case, white enamelled dial with subsidiary seconds, signed back plate and Masonic engraved cock plate, 58mm diameter; also an American Waltham white metal cased pocket watch, with Fogg's patent movement, white enamelled dial with subsidiary seconds, the back plate inscribed with the name of the previous owner 'William Ellery', 56mm diameter (2)

Tobias: The outer case only closes loosely, otherwise it is in good condition but for wear to the silver at the tip of the button. The dial has a crack running from the centre towards 3 o'clock, and a shorter one running from the centre towards 10 o'clock. Another running through the subsidiary seconds. Some small chips and nibbles to the outer edge of the glass. Minor scratches and very small dents to the inner case. The watch currently ticks when wound.
Waltham: The dial has a fine hair crack from the subsidiary seconds between 7 and 8 o'clock. Finer scratches and knocks to the outer case. The watch is ticking when wound.
