AN IRISH MID-18TH CENTURY CARVED MAHOGANY ARMCHAIR, circa 1745 – a piece of Irish crafted furniture that is almost 300 years old & still in fantastic condition, the back with a lovely simple shaped crest rail and a pierced tapered splat back, the scroll shaped armrests have a lovely carved foliage detail to the ends supports beneath by a pair of cabriole shaped uprights. The seat supported on square leg united by a ‘H’ shaped stretcher. Condition: excellent, ready to sit in! Dimensions: 98 x 64 x 59cm (H x W x D).
