Victorian boots for young children: a pair of brown leather ankle boots labelled Startrite, (company established in 1792 in Norwich) with leather soles, front laces, rounded toe, small heel, lined in cream canvas with leather insole, length approx. 14 cm, width to the front approx. 6 cm; together with an earlier pair of ankle boots, this time side buttoning, brown leather, unlabelled, shaped toes, buttoning to the side with 5 buttons, low heel, c 1870’s, length approx. 14 cm, front width approx. 6cm (2 pairs)

Good patina, buttons present, in good used condition. The first pair has a small chip to the leather sold on the left foot. The button flap on the second pair is curling slightly
