A late 18th century mahogany longcase clock, signed John Day, Wakefield, the hood with a pagoda top and arched door with inlaid paterae, the brass dial with moonphase over a silvered chapter ring with Roman & Arabic numerals, with subsidiary calendar and seconds dials, framed by rococo style spandrels, the eight day movement chiming on a bell, the trunk with cluster columns flanking the triple lancet door, with marquetry borders and paterae, 256cm

A small loss to the bottom right ogf the hood door and a split to the top centre. \some moulding missing from the top of the lancet door. Age splits throughout.
