A Chelsea fluted barrel shaped tea pot and cover, painted, possibly by James Giles with brightly coloured fanciful birds within red stemmed foliage, ear shaped handle, domed fluted cover with flowerhead finial, detailed and outlined in gilt, 13cm high, gold anchor mark, c.1765-70
Minor wear to gilding, the tea pot spout rebuilt. The cover with extensive restoration and rebuilding. Colours are bright, mark is clear.
