A French musical sewing box, 19th century. Of elongated octagonal form, the hinged cover opening to reveal a removable velvet lined tray fitted with mother of pearl, silver and white metal sewing accoutrements. The tray lifts to reveal the musical movement beneath with winding mechanism accessible beneath. 27.5 cm length, 12 cm height. Condition report: No winding key or lock key included.
