A Coalport dessert service, circa 1870-80 comprising five plates and one low comport dish, finely decorated with rectangular named British, Irish and European named views, with blue printed and gilded flowers and foliate embossed chain linked borders, views comprising 'Kilchurn Castle Lochawe' (x2); 'Derwent Water'; 'Abbey of Moyne'; 'Loch Lomond' and 'Mont Cervin', some pieces with brown printed 'Salopian Coalport C AD 1750 & AD 1790' roundel mark, plates 23cm diameter, comport 6.5cm high Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
