19th Century Gladius Short Sword with Etched Decoration to the Blade An unusual example with a 21 inch double edged spearpoint blade with double fuller. The blade with half length etched decoration depicting stand of arms and floral decoration. To the forte, a cutlers mark of a C within a circle. The solid brass grip with ring turned grip. Housed in black leather and brass mounted scabbard. Sword in good clean condition, etching clear. Scabbard with repairs.
