A Meissen porcelain chicken group, 20th century, model number G163, designed by August Ringler circa 1866, unglazed blue crossed swords struck through indicating second quality, incised model number and painted '26' to underside, 21cm high (at fault)
All three birds show chips to the cones. The cockerel and a chicken each show a loss to the tail approximately 2cm long. The ground shows losses to the bocage detail. The piece is marked as second quality.
