A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ALABASTER MANTEL CLOCK UNDER A GLASS DOME, the rectangular clock with gilt spelter lion surmount, the case with four painted roundels, enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, Brocot escapement with open movement, gilt columns flanking the case, on turned feet, with pendulum and key, height 34cm, gilt wood plinth, the glass dome on an ebonised plinth, height 47cm (1 + pendulum and key) (Condition Report: chipping to the alabaster case on rounded corners, movement quite tightly wound but runs, gilding on lion worn)
