A 1981 Mercedes W123 280CE Coupe automatic in Thistle Green Metallic with special order two tone green interior trim. Last registered owner in the V5 log book since 2007. These coupes must be one of the best looking of the W123s, and the 280 CE is top of the range. There is the log book and a virtually new MOT, plus it has been recently serviced, and the original service book shows 15 service entries.
The car has been recently re-commissioned including a rear brake strip down re-grease etc, oil change, new MOT and new rear calliper. The car has been stored for many years in a private collection so some further re-commissioning may be required. The body work is said to look, stunning with the chrome bumpers and Mexican hat style original Mercedes alloys. The shut lines are very good, the interior is original and very clean. The car features a working electric sunroof plus a good automatic gearbox. The vendor says that this is a truly wonderful looking vehicle.
