Joistman[?]"; handwritten certificate of birth for two child slaves, 16th January 1833, "This is to certify that the following slaves have bene borne namely; ---tze[?] whose Mother named Eva, on the 17th December 1832. Sijda whose Mother named Rosie on the 24th December 1832. Cape Town 16th January 1833.", signed L.W.C. Beck; handwritten certificate of birth for a slave, Cape Town, 4th July 1832, "I hereby certify that my female slave named Rebecca about 36 1/2 years this Colony, Housemaid, was on the 7th April 1832 delivered of a male infant named Marthinus, Cape Town 4th July 1832", signed C. van Schoon.
