Pierre-Jules Mêne (French, 1810-1871), a 19th century French bronze group 'Jument Et Son Poulain', upon a naturalistic base, signed in the bronze, 26.5cm wide, 12.5cm deep, 17cm high
Overall in honest untouched condition, an even dark brown patination through most of the work but a little lighter on the sides of the horses, dirty and dusty particularly to the recesses of the base.
