A bit of an enigma. According to Quixley & Quixley (page 194), 'The early copies of the County of Cornwall divided into Hundreds in 12 sections mounted on linen. Note the circular cartouche bottom centre bearing Thomas Dix's name only,...' This copy, showing catalogue points of a true first, lacks the linen mount. A near fine, scarce copy.
