Grapes from a single vineyard situated 600m above sea level in Paarl have yielded a wine that marks a significant chapter in South African Shiraz on the global stage. Altitude, complex deep granite soils, and low yields contributed to this remarkable creation. The wine is rich and concentrated yet fresh and juicy with extraordinary structure. Using 25% whole berries and employing natural fermentation and gentle extraction techniques helped shape the wine. It spent 18 months in oa k 2014 SA Shiraz Challenge – Top 12
