A SET OF SIXTEEN 19TH CENTURY SAFAVID STYLE IRANIAN QAJAR GLAZED POTTERY TILES, decorated with polychrome flower rinceau within black linework, the first on a yellow background, scrolls of fingered palms flowered with rosettes and lotus buds, the other on blue ground with floral garland, the tiles mounted and glazed within a single large frame, each tile approx. 22cm square, frame 103cm square. Two tiles of the same design appeared in Tajan auction, Paris, 13.11.2019.
