A Japanese Shin Gunto Katana, and scabbard, having a 66cm plain chamfered steel blade, prunus decorated tsuba and braided handle, sword length 97cm, overall length 100cm
Good overall condition, blade is lightly surface scratched and marked, with no identifying marks, light surface wear and marks to the handle through age and use, scabbard slightly dented, some rust spots and signs of wear.
Unable currently to remove the pin to show the tang, we will continue to try.
