Zulu isiJula (throwing) and iKlwa (stabbing) spears: Mid-late 19th Cent, Iron blades with tong grip marks below and tang fitting. Tangs bound into the hafts with cow-tail tubes. Hafts with swollen terminals with bases cut with a blade or adze, all indicative of correct Anglo-Zulu War period pieces. IsiJula with typical smaller blade & longer distance between blade and haft, and showing Impact damage on the blade, 49 ½ inches, length; the iKlwa shorter with small distance between blade (Buyer collects)
