AN 18TH CENTURY OTTOMAN LEATHER BOUND ILLUMINATED QURAN, the manuscript written in naskh in black ink and ruled in red and gold, the verses divided by polychrome pointed gold roundels, the surah headings in red riqa within gold and red, blue or yellow cartouches, with polychrome and gold hisb, juz and sajdahs markers in the margins, the leather binding with stamped brown gilt decoration - the interior with marbled end-papers, 23.5cm x 15.5cm.
