£550
An Anglo-Indian carved hardwood model of a kneeling camel, possibly teak, late 19th century, naturalistically modelled bearing a circular stand upon its back, on toothed pill-shaped base, 26.5cm W x 11.5cm D x 17cm H (at fault)
The neck shows evidence of historic repair. The circular stand shows losses to two carved leaves, and staining to the surface. The camel's head shows losses to both ears. The base shows losses to two teeth, and nibbles and wear to the others. The piece shows wear throughout commensurate with age.
