Coins; United States of America; 1800 Half Dime (Heraldic Eagle reverse). A scarce coin type, in Very Fine grade (VF-20 ?), showing some general wear from circulation, and some weakness about the shield, especially to the right. There is a slight bend to the coin at the edge to left of the ribbon.
Only 24,000 pieces were produced of this date (and less than 110,000 in total of this type over five different dates).
