GRANDE-ARMEE MARK EX DRESDEN + LETTER EX BIRSTEIN & MILITARY COVER TO "SOBERSEN"; 4 Sept. 1813 EL from Dresden to Louvain charged "6" with a very fine "No.19/GRANDE-ARMEE" on the front that is thought to describe the 29-30 Aug. 1813 Battle of Kulm (village 31 miles south of Dresden), deserving of careful transcription & translation; 30 Sept. 1813 EL (long interesting contents in French; probably referring to the Battle of Dennewitz) from "G/Berstein (Pres Hanneau)" to Crecy with a faint "ALLEMAGNE/PAR/MAYENCE"; and undated c.1813 official military wrapper (fine red wax seal of "DER KOEN PREUSSISCHEN 11 ten BRIGADE") with unknown place of origin addressed to "Barclay de Jolly".
