(couple of edge-tears visible on front) from Paris to Starrucca, Pennsylvania with oval "*/FR/2F" accountancy mark very finely struck in blue as opposed to the usual black - scarce thus. Along with "NEW YORK/MAY/9/29/U.S NOTES" cds's as well as "24" postage due h.s. Plus 18 July 1870 EL from Messina, Italy to New York via Paris & London with oval "*FR*/2F" mark (fair) struck in red on the front beside "14" postage due h.s., "ITALIE/AMB.MARSEILLE" transit & "NEW YORK/JUL/4/18/U.S NOTES" arrival.
