H.BUCH. 'The Leader of the Line', signed 'H.Buch' (lower right), watercolour heightened with white, 16 1/2 x 27 1/2 in. The ships depicted in the painting are said to include H.M.S. Dominion, H.M.S. Britannia, H.M.S. King Edward VII and H.M.S. Hibernia. (Another watercolour by the artist is in the Royal Collection which depicts H.M.S. Drake at Portsmouth, 1905.)
