Suzuki 500 GT 2-Stroke 1977 offered for sale.

This is a UK supplied Suzuki 500 GT 2-Stroke in very good condition. This bike was built in the last year of production, and features updates such as the virtually bullet proof Suzuki electronic ignition, a front disc brake, a larger 4.5-gallon tank, and a longer, wider seat.

This bike has been recently restored very sympathetically to standard condition. There is a lot of the original parts present, in good condition, on the bike, including the silencers, wheel rims, mudguards, lights etc. The frame has been re-finished, and the fuel tank side panels etc. re-painted in Candy Red. There are new items fitted, such as the new standard type handlebar controls, new mirrors and new tyres, and the seat has been recovered. Everything on the bike appears to be in good original condition. The vendor tells us that he has recently calibrated the oil pump, and set the clutch up correctly.

There is no history with the bike, but it comes with a V5c in the vendors name, a rare original owners handbook, a Pitman workshop manual, a spare set of keys, and a few other bits and pieces.

These GT 500s are "old skool 2-stoke stink wheels", which exude 70's style and character, this is the last of this type of bike, and is a pleasure to ride, with good performance and handling, not to mention that unmistakable 2-stroke exhaust note.
