1526-1544 Second Coinage Henry VIII silver Groat with Laker bust D and arrow mintmarks (S 2337E, North 1797). Obverse: profile portrait of the King facing right with larger face, Roman nose and fluffy hair, the arch of his crown not breaking the inner circle. An arrow mintmark precedes a legend that reads 'HENRIC x VIII xx D xx G xx R 'x AGL x Z x FRANCE +'. Reverse: long cross fourchée with crosses in the terminals and shield of royal arms within a circle, 'POSVI DEV 'xx A DIVTORE 'xx MEV' around. Weight: 2.48g. Diameter: 25.2mm. Grade: gF - good Fine details, some minor creasing and some small environmental scrapes.
