A closely matched pair of 19th century famille rose porcelain covered vases by Samson of Paris, baluster form, painted with archaic style bronze vases of flowers and peonies issuing from rockwork, the base with lappet band, the conforming domed covers with bud finials, 7 7/8in. (20cm.) high. (2)
*Condition: Some gilt wear. One with two firing flaws to rim. No other faults.
