£40
An early 19th century marble-topped continental console table: the white flecked black marble top above a single full-width drawer and raised on turned front supports united by a concave-shaped platform stretcher (129cm wide x 56cm deep x 87.5cm high)
Condition Report: The piece seems to have been later painted, inside the drawer and on the sides there is some paint and veneering away and also on the stretcher and surrounding legs area. There are some old cracks which have been painted over but are visible on close inspection (on the stretcher). Also a 3cm section away on the right-hand back support. No obvious signs of woodworm, some minor surface scratching to the marble which appears otherwise to be in overall general condition. There is a small 4cm x 3cm piece let in at the back left-hand side (a historic repair) which is slightly darker so does show. There are some small chips away to the edge of the marble but not prevalent.
