A FRENCH GILDED ORMOLU OVAL JEWELLERY CASKET, late 19th century, with hinged top and medieval scenes cast to the front back and sides, stamped T & E Paris, 6" wide, 5" high, 4 1/4" deep (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
The latch to the top is stiff. There is a visible indentation to the ormolu to the top of the central frieze. The wood lined interior is raised and damaged in places.
